We recently found out that the place we rent is now for sale and will be forced to move in the very near future. We just moved into this unit two months ago from another unit in the building. This means all of our records will have to be carefully packed up and moved again. The only way to make this any easier is to sell as many as we can before the move day arrives. I discounted over 100 items on the site to make this more appealing to you. Please take the time and browse our large selection of vinyl and tell your friends to do the same. It would mean a lot to us.

The coupon code ‘chisel11′ has stopped working on the site. Until this is fixed, you can email your orders and I’ll get back with the invoice. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The percentage is not calculating properly and causing an error, so here is what we will have to do in the meantime.
1. Pick out all of your items.
2. Email me your list. Include your mailing address and Paypal address and send it to andrew@chiselrecords.com.
3. I will send you an invoice with the 20% off.
4. Pay the invoice and I will ship that right away.
Another option would be me just refunding back the discounted amount. If this is easier, just place the order without the code and add “chisel11″ in the notes in Paypal. I understand this won’t work for everyone but it may be easier for some people.

Our shop is brand new and we even have some genres for ease of browsing. We only added four categories for genres for a couple reasons 1) I hate categorising music into specific genres 2) most of the music falls within these four categories. The genre categories are PUNK, FOLK, ROCK and SOUL. The category titled ROCK will mostly be what is known as “Indie” rock, FOLK will be a lot of folky stuff mixed with some solo acoustic music, PUNK is pretty straightforward but it does include Hardcore as well and SOUL is also pretty straightforward. Some music will fall into two or more categories. Some music will not fall into any of these categories and will only be able to be searched or by browsing through the alphabet. Metal, Hip Hop and “experimental” stuff is the bulk of the stuff that didn’t fit into any of these categories. We don’t carry a whole lot of that stuff anyways.
The best way to keep in touch and to find out about new stuff to the site would be to follow us on Twitter and Facebook. We have been giving away records for every hundred “likes” on Facebook. Once we get more people following on us on Twitter, we will do a special contest for that.
